To add a border to an object

·         Right click on the object (such as a picture) and from the pop-up menu select the Format Picture command. Note: if the object had not been a picture you would still see a command allowing you to format whatever type of object you had inserted into your slide.  

·         This will display the Format Picture dialog box.  Select the Colors and Lines tab.  You can click on the down arrow next to the Lines section of the dialog box and select a line color.  

·         You can use the Dashed , Style and Weight sections of the dialog box to format this line.
