Student File Access From Home for Grades 3-5 Note: Links for access on this page ONLY work while off campus, not while on campus. You can now more easily connect to the TBS student file server to upload and download your files for use at home and school.
1. Click This Link to login to the TBS File Server. You may also click "Student File Access From Home" at the top of this page. 2. Enter your username and password. Depending on your version of Microsoft Windows at home your login box may look slightly different. All that is required to login is to enter your username and password. Do not check the "remember my password box"
3. You will now see a screen with all of your files and folders at school. You can use this screen to Download "get" your files and put them on your home computer or laptop, and Upload your files from your home computer or laptop back to the school server "S: drive".
4. To download a file, right-click the blue "get" next to the file. A popup window will ask you if you would like to save the file. Click "Save" or "OK" and save the file on your Desktop at home so you can find it.
5. Now find the file on your Desktop you just downloaded and saved from the "S: drive" at school and you will be able to open and work on it from your home computer. REMEMBER TO ALWAYS SAVE YOUR FILES. 6. When you are done working on your files at home SAVE THEM. Now you are ready to Upload your files back to the school's "S: drive". 7. Follow steps 1,2,and 3 to log back into the school website where you downloaded your files. 8. On the left of screen you see where it says "Upload". Click the "Browse" button to open a window so you can find the files you want to upload from your home computer or laptop to the school "S: drive". Click the file you want and then click "Open" or "OK".
9. See how the blank field has been filled in with your file name from your home computer, press the "Upload" button to send the file to your "S: drive" folder at school. You will see a progress bar as the file is transferred.
10. When the progress bar finishes you will your file has been uploaded back to the school "S: drive". Your files are now ready for you to use in the classroom.
