Sponsored by the Palm Beach Chapter of the Florida Engineering Society, MATHCOUNTS is a nationwide math coaching and competition program for middle school students. It promotes student interest in math by making math achievement as challenging, exciting and prestigious as a school sport with over 500,000 students participating at the school level every year. Nearly 6000 schools and 35,000 students participate in competitions annually.
